“The ultimate friendship strategy includes every member of the church as a greeter. Each regular attendee has his or her own private ministry of making people feel welcome.”

Mission Statement

The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to provide a ministry of service thru love, and care to all "the visitor's as well as the Shiloh family" in providing the person with that which is needed and required to be rested, rejuvenated, and renewed.  We will join and assist other ministries in providing the care and services required to meet those needs and goals of each ministry's objectives in making the Body of Christ a healthy one through Good Food - for the mind, body, and soul.`

This ministry conducts itself according to the following scripture:
"Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality", Romans 12:13 KJV

Greeters Ministry
Our Greeters Ministry is here to warmly welcome our guests and church family, to serve as hosts and hostesses as well as offering friendly assistance and encouragement and a loving greeting to all who enter through our doors.

Communication
The Information Desk is a ministry that provides information (regarding Sabbath School Classes, Nursery, and Children's Church to name a few), gives directions to various areas of our church and general communication about activities and happenings at Shiloh to attendees and visitors. If you are a people person and love your church then this could be a great place for you to "plug in."

Visitors and Membership
The Visitor and Membership ministry provides the means by which the Shiloh church can be a supportive ministry to all visitors as well as the members of Shiloh church family. This team will record all visitor and new member information, baptismal dates, new member classes, membership care, follows up with Sabbath morning guests via telephone and e-mail. This team provides an "after the visit" word of welcome and answers to questions guests may have following their visit to Shiloh.

Parking
The Shiloh Parking Ministry (ShilohPM) is an interactive, people oriented ministry designed to ensure a safe and welcoming experience to all who come to the Shiloh Church. The process of efficiently moving cars in and out of the parking lot is fun and requires a well orchestrated communicative team of volunteers. We therefore ought to welcome such, that we may be fellow-workers for the truth, 3 John 1:8

The ShilohPM is an opportunity to serve the body. All who call the Shiloh Church their home are encouraged to participate. The goal of the ShilohPM is to promote a Christ centered, safe, relaxed, and stress free environment.

Here at Shiloh Church we have some challenges in getting congregants in and out of the parking lot. Limited entrances, exits, narrow drive ways, reserve parking requirements, pedestrian traffic, and neighbor relations, all require a dedicated team focused on a tried and true process.

The ShilohPM is a tremendous blessing to all attendees of the Shiloh Church. We welcome all newcomers
